Yesterday I posted a blog about Captain Jack Sparrow and was surprised that it didn't appear at the top of the blog as I expected. Those of you who have entered your email address in the box on the right will have received an email saying that there was a new blog but on inspection would have found nothing - unless of course you'd scrolled down and tried to remember what you'd read before and what you hadn't - my apologies.
I had started the Johnny Depp posting on Saturday and had saved it as a draft. What I didn't know was that when I finally publish it, it maintained the date that it had first been created on and so slotted in way down the blog in date order, and so I learn the follies of dates.
